About Kishkindha
The cave-kingdom of the vanaras in the southern hills. During Sahadeva's southern digvijaya the vanara kings Mainda and Dvivida contested him for seven days before honoring him with tribute (Sabha Parva). It also figures in the Ramopakhyana of the Vana Parva.
