About Bhaga

One of the twelve Adityas, the god who apportions shares and fortune, invoked in the epic beside Aryaman, Pushan and Mitra. At Daksha's ruined sacrifice Rudra tore out his eyes as he broke Savitri's arms and Pushan's teeth, and gave them back only when the gods had appeased him; he also charged Krishna and Arjuna at the burning of Khandava.
