Who was Angada?
Angada (अङ्गद): Envoy to Lanka, one of the sages and supporting figures in the Mahabharata. Son of Vali and one of the great monkeys of Sugriva's host, sent south with Hanuman in the search for Sita.

About Angada
Son of Vali and one of the great monkeys of Sugriva's host, sent south with Hanuman in the search for Sita. Rama chose him as ambassador to Ravana, and when four rakshasas seized him in the council hall he leapt to the palace terrace, broke their ribs in the fall and vaulted the walls of Lanka back to his own lines.
