Radheya (rādheya)

Radheya means son of Radha, the charioteer's wife who raised the infant Karna after he was found floating in a basket on the river. Used kindly it is a name of belonging, and Karna keeps it after he learns the truth of his birth, telling Kunti that he will not abandon the woman who fed him. Used by his enemies it is an insult about his class, and the epic makes the difference between those two uses one of its central studies in dignity.
