Vabhru (बभ्रु): Last of the Vrishnis, one of the sages and supporting figures in the Mahabharata. A Vrishni hero of great energy, named in the sages' curse at Dwaraka when the drunken youths presented Samba to them dressed as his wife.

About Vabhru
A Vrishni hero of great energy, named in the sages' curse at Dwaraka when the drunken youths presented Samba to them dressed as his wife. He and Daruka were the only ones left standing beside Krishna after the slaughter at Prabhasa, and Krishna sent him to guard the women of the household. Before he had gone far, the iron bolt fixed in a hunter's mallet flew of itself and killed him, the last of his race to die.
