About Chandakausika
The great ascetic who came again into the country of the Magadhas and was received by Brihadratha with the offer of the whole kingdom. Wanting nothing, he gave the childless king a single mango that had dropped into his lap and promised him a son; when the halved child was joined and roared, it was Chandakausika who returned to name his future, saying no weapon would wound him and no king stand before him.
