About Rajapura
The opulent capital of Chitrangada, king of the Kalingas, where a self-choice drew hundreds of rulers for the hand of his daughter. When the maiden walked past Duryodhana as she had passed the others, he commanded her to stop, lifted her onto his car and carried her off, while Karna alone held the rear and cut down the bows, standards and drivers of the pursuing kings until they turned back empty-handed.
