About Trijata
One of the rakshasa women set to watch Sita in Ravana's asoka wood, and the only one of them the epic calls virtuous and agreeable in speech. She carried Sita the message of the old counsellor Avindhya, that Rama was alive, that he had made his alliance with Sugriva, and that Nalakuvera's curse kept Ravana from touching her by force; then she told the dream she had had of Ravana's fall. When it was over Rama gave her riches and honours by name.
