About Hidimba Forest
The wild forest beyond the Ganga where the fleeing Pandavas rested after Varanavata. Here Bhima slew the man-eating rakshasa Hidimba and married his sister Hidimbaa, who bore him the mighty Ghatotkacha (Adi Parva).
